Sociable Introvert Looking for Misfit Friends

Hi everyone, I'm 52, single, and live in Wales (not Welsh myself). I love art (I'm a working artist), philosophy, spirituality (not religion), but also enjoy just 'shooting the breeze' with the right person. I have trouble making friends partly because I enjoy solitude haha, partly because I've moved around so much, and partly because I don't seem to fit in to ordinariness.

I'm not especially unusual but I'm not 'mainstream' I suppose we can put it. Yet people who are too alternative are usually too much for me. Although I'm an introvert, I'm very chatty when I'm 1-2-1, so need people who are also chatty, or happy to listen to another chatty person lol I've travelled all over the world, seen a lot, done a lot, read a lot, thought a lot, and none of it has left me with a companion or close friends at 52! I have one teen who will be flying the coop in a few years and I'm not keen on how my future is looking, friendship-wise.

So, do I sound like someone with which you might like to chat?

Hi
Which part of Wales? I'm a recently retired female and live near Monmouth. If you like walking and live nearby we could meet up.

Not sure I'm any good at 'chatting' but can identify with your profile completely.
