Watch this postI have been pen palling for a while now does anyone else do this and is there somewhere on the site for this? It would be nice to write to people on here if they were interested.

Love to write to you. I am spending XMas with my children. I will be going back to Cornwall after Newyears day. I love to sail and travel.
I am in my late Eighties but still have all my faculties (touch wood). I love reading, computers, watching TV thrillers ,trying to do some creative writing, cats, and my family.
Have had quite a few pen friends over the years but alas, have "lost" practically all of them. Still have one who jots down her thoughts on a daily basis and makes me laugh. We keep in constant touch.
Live in Dorset and have just moved to a flat nearer to civilisation. Really like it here.

I love to write - I am trying to finish a novel- but always want someone I can write to. I like beautiful films, making things with my hands, and if I were allowed a cat in my flat I'd be extremely happy.
You think you may be the oldest member on this site, and I think I may be the youngest...I am not yet 30! I didn't realise the community I had joined when I went looking for pen pals, but I'm hoping to make friends. I think you seem very interesting and engaging, and would love to hear more about you.
My best friend died in the summer and I would like to make new friends. I enjoy corresponding.
I am very much a people person. I enjoy travelling and since my husband died I have travelled extensively.

I am Al..just registered at this moment..I am in my 70's..single..and an ex nightclub manager from London..worked in London all my working life..but now retired down to the south coast.I am looking for an association..electronically....with ladies aged 60 plus..(years,that is not otherwise..lolol)If anyone out there wants to spend a little time "chatting"..I would be most grateful.

Saw your post and you wanted to talk to ladies in your age group. I am 68, but not an old lady yet. Love to chat to you, where exactly is the 'south coast' in relation to London ? I actually live in Australia, not yet been to England but I would love to one day.

I’ve been dipping in and out of this site for several years but like other people say it can be rather “slow” on here and my inbox always remains empty.......... was it something I said, or maybe didn’t say?
Before I finally give up let’s see if anyone fancies the odd chatty message or email!
Indeed, this site is very slow and this is sad....
