Brownee points for knowing what a scroll saw is and even more for liking the things we make. I started with my first scroll saw about 15 years ago and it can be an obsession. I’m in the middle of doing some spring cleaning dated 2014 (I’m a little behind) I moved into this house in 2006 (after divorce) I got my small garden done just the way I wanted it with large deck and lots of small trees and shrubs. Never in all my imagining and designing did it enter my head that plants grow, and even worse 2 of the 3 miniture trees that I got were the wrong type. Instead of growing to about 10ft they kept growing to over 30ft so I’ve had to cut down those 2. Half the deck rotted so I’ve done away with that half. All these woes happened whilst I spent all my spare time at my saw. In between all the above I’m also in a band in work playing trumpet.
I retire on Feb 1st after 43 years, so I’m looking forward to that. 1st plan is to get a dog. Just to force me to leave the house. What part of the world are you in? Any hobbies, to help you recover from being nice to people all day.

We just had some snow and it is very cold here.
Our summers are very nice. Temperature doesnt usually get above 80 degrees and the wind is always blowing.
Colorado Springs is about an 8 hour drive from where i live.

I will be home for Christmas. My daughter will be coming, she lives about 4 hours away. hopefully the weather holds. My son and family live close to me so we all will be together.

The cat and dog "torment" each other, but there is no harm done.
