Hiya Carol, Yes I am retired I has a brain tumour when I was 54, It was a benign tumour but it was taking my sight because of the position of the tumour. I had brain surgery in Sheffield and came through with damage to my sight, but I came through but didn t go back to work so you could say I retired at 54 and I have just had my 71st birthday. Have you had the terrible weather as well its been quite scart with the wind, does poppy mind the bad weather ?Alice has coat telling peole she is blind so that helps with the weather, what breed is poppy. Take care when you go out the fields are so muddy .
talk soon

I expect poppy being a border collie she has a lot of enegy, My mum and dad had one I know what she was like. What part of Britain do you live in , I e you and your husband retired or still empoloyed, before I wa ill I worked in greengrocery .Hadn t planned to stay there it was just a stop gap, but started in 1984 and finished in 2005 so it must have been ok , th eyears just flow by don t they but I worked around my sons in the begginning , I have 2 sons. Do you have children. Have a good week , Take care

Hiya Carol, I absolutly agree with you this sight is very confusing, I can t find my way around it.I amfrom the aches and pains 71 I just had my birthday, its hard convincing your self you are that age when you don t feel it, apart from the aches and pains. I used to worj the same as you 3 days a week, I always found that a happy medium between work and home. I bet you had your hands full with twins didn t you , I bet they were lovely though, My 2 are 46 and Steven is fifty in April , can t beleive it, both mine were home till they were nearly thirty, I never wanted them to leave really but once you get used to it its good, thats what we are suppose to do isn t it teach them to stand on their own 2 feet. For the first time this weekend we have managed to walk out without getting wet through and blown away. G xxut 2 fence panels down last night more problems , nothing though compaired to what some people have had though, Hop poppy is ok and not bothering about the weather. Are you working tommorrow?. have a good day if you are . take care Margaretxx
