Have you looked at your local u3a website? They generally have loads of "interest" groups ranging from book groups, holiday, gardening, wine-tasting, walking, singing for fun etc. I joined my local group about 12 years ago and there's always something to join in with if the fancy takes you. This week I have attended the Singing for Fun session and tomorrow will be going to a near-by garden centre withe the Gardening group for a demonstration of the best plants to fill hanging-baskets and tubs. I've been retired since 2018 unfortunately for health reasons. It's hard to suggest ideas for hobbies unless you know the persons interests. For me I've always loved different type of plants, not saying I'm good with a lot of them but I've found ones that don't die on me. Do they have craft fairs where your at or maybe concerts. Maybe a Senior center. Anyway your retired and the possibilities are endless just get out there and explore, it's amazing what you can find...Good luck
