Like minded people
Watch this postHi all, just joined as thinking might be nice to chat on here as the dark evenings draw in and the temperature drops! To introduce myself I am in my mid 60's and I now live alone as my husband went into care with dementia in April. I am still getting used to living in an empty house. I keep labradors and find myself chatting to them or Alexa! I don't really watch much on tv and the thought of winter nights with no one to talk to is depressing.
I thought it would be nice to make friends on here with like minded people. My interests are outdoor pursuits, nature, I like gardening, definitely grown too much veg this year. I work 2 days week at a local horse sanctuary. I live in a small village, no shops or pubs unfortunately. I help my elderly mother now my husband lives away. But not sure where life goes from here. I like travelling , love rock music, and used to have motorbikes (many years ago) and long distance walking. I live in South Norfolk if there is anyone locally. I am not really a sit and gossip sort of person, so it would be nice to meet one or two people for a walk or visit to garden centre , stately home or just a dog walk. Thanks for reading.
