Despatches

Do the powers that be think we are stupid? Just a few days after the most hated budget in decades, we have this egregious hatchet job on the King and Prince of Wales. Aiming for a socialist republic? At the very least it is distasteful. The amount of money and the time period over which it refers to are so manipulated as to render it Putin-like in its doubtful veracity. If there are questions to be asked, do so. Trial by media is undemocratic and despicable when used against those who cannot answer back.

You are so right, Billythequiche. I was at a Quiz night last night and a red-hot Labour supporter on our team was trying to convince us that we, all pensioners, had no reason to fear this government's policies. Where is Guy Fawkes when we need him???

We pensioners probably don’t need to fear the Labour government we wont be here, many will die of the cold this winter, to frightened to turn on the heating and too proud to apply for as many see it means tested handouts.

In answer to the op many people are stupid, some even believe Diana’s death was an accident.
Corona virus which is thought to have originated in a Wuhan lab and killed mainly the old was an accident, as China faced a massive problem with an ageing population it couldn’t pay for.
