Yippee-do-da-day
Yippee-do-da-day
I know I’m going to win one day,
But I’m not too sure of when.
I’m really optimistic,
When picking up my lotto pen.
I’ve chosen all the birthdays,
I’ve even asked my wife.
But the numbers still elude me,
That would really change my life.
Each week I look for helpful signs,
That will assist me in my quest.
But so far they have escaped me,
Oh..which numbers would be best?
We have news about your ticket,
Comes a message through..on line.
But when I check..all full of hope,
The millions are not mine.
A lucky dip..they’ve given me,
Oh..yippee-do-da-day.
Another week of waiting,
For another lucky play.
I’ve got plans for all the millions,
When my lucky day arrives.
It’s going to make a difference,
To a lot of people’s lives
So..Twenty one and forty,
Sixteen and number ten…..
I know I’m going to win one day,
I’m just not too sure..of when!!
