Well, that was a mistake
I read on Facebook a post about careful who you take home as you could be stuck with them….I felt a poem coming on
Well, that was a mistake
He’s sat at end of my settee
And isn’t talking much to me
When we first met he was quite chatty
Now his tempers rather ratty
No razor so he’s grown a beard
Don’t like him, even think he’s weird
There was I sat on the bus
Not wanting to cause a fuss
As when we alighted, he
Suggested sharing cup of tea
Would have used a cafe, but
Six thirty and they all were shut
My home was very close at hand
A cuppa was all I had planned
Then this law came into play
I am lumbered now, he’s here to stay
