Two Shoes
Two Shoes
What did I come up here for?
I haven’t got a clue.
Seeking inspiration
But nothing’s coming through.
Going through the alphabet
Like you do to remember names
That didn’t turn any lights on
I’m none the wiser, still the same.
I know I’ll go back downstairs
To see if it jogs my mind
At least I’ll burn some calories
Still a waste of time.
I’ll go and have a cuppa
A caffine boost, might do the trick.
Hopefully turn a light on
Sleeping brain cells given a kick.
But in fact that didn’t happen
A condor moment took the stage
Perfection cut short in a second
With a voice in abit of a rage.
Women what do you think your doing?
Have you forgot what you came into do?
I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest
You look vacant, you haven’t got a clue.
Of course, I’m fine, ready to go now
I don’t think so, they still don’t look right
You have a blue shoe placed on your left foot
And a black one still on your right.
After confessing my senior moment
Multitasking taking the blame
A hot flush and a little embarrassment
Two shoes that look both the same.
