Two Minds Entwined

How lucky are we if we have love in our lives?  It is the little things that really mean the most.

Two Minds Entwined

My mind glows in the warmth of your embrace
I’m happy just to see a smile upon your rugged face
I don’t need fancy gifts to know how much you care
The greatest gift to me is the life that we both share

We are gifted every day that we get to spend together
Through both good and bad times and extra stormy weather
Some days may seem dreary and often quite mundane
But we have such a happy life, there’s no room to complain

We smile at how often our thoughts are so aligned
I get you and you get me, we really are entwined
No better gift I wish for than to spend my life with you
The love we share between us is enough to see us through
