“Tomorrow will be a good day”
But sadly for us Sir,
you are on your way
Just beyond the horizon
To a place far above
Leaving behind you
A world sending love
At our worst time of struggle
Not once did you moan
Raising Millions for our NHS
You walked on, but not alone
The world stood beside you,
Just willing you on
You gave hope to so many
We are so sad you’ve gone
Inspiring our nation
You made us all smile
We’d forget all our troubles
Just for a while
Tomorrow will be a good day
Come sunshine or rain
And there’s one thing for certain
‘We‘ll meet again’…
