The Ring
Another beautiful poem written by Mick Westwood about the significance and everlasting bond of a wedding ring.
The RingĀ
For I will bring to you, a ring, of shining, purest gold,
For you to wear, beyond this life as age and love enfold,
A symbol there emblazoned, a shining sainted thing,
A token of my worship, within this wedding ring.
A sign for all the world to see, that you and I are one,
Two hearts, one beat encircled, without you I am none,
For blessed is the promise, that you have made to me,
And cherished is the love we hold, for all eternity.
And proud I am, so proud I am, that you stand at my side,
All since that day, that special day, when you became my bride,
A uniting of two lovers, a vow was made for life,
And nothing will divide the love, between a Husband and his Wife
