The eBay Addict
The eBay Addict
It started as a harmless distraction, a curious search on the net,
she placed her first bid on a garment and waited to see what she’d get.
eBay was ever so easy; she purchased some lovely bright tops,
as she sat her faithful computer she entered the finest clothes shop.
The bids were becoming a frenzy and she looked like a shopper possessed,
wearing the outfits she purchased, Di knew she was wearing the best.
There was even a little black number, too cute not to put in a bid,
It only just covered her booty but she was ever so glad that she did.
Now Dianne became very savvy, she thought she would up it a gear,
She’d buy lots of knick-knacks and trinkets and enter an eBay career.
Her finger for bidding was stronger as she clicked for each item she saw,
as each item was won by Di’s quickness she let out a hearty guffaw.
Her wardrobe was groaning with items, her house was awash with fine sales,
but still she outflanked all her rivals when it came to the eBay retails.
However, she dropped one big clanger as won a great bid through the bank,
next day a low loader came calling with Di’s rickety rusty old tank.
She tried to call in the army to take the old tank off her drive,
but they sent a young man from the ministry who arrived at a quarter to five.
Di knew she was now in some bother as he talked about arms deals and like,
he questioned the fact she had missiles and when she was planning to strike?
“I got it from eBay by error as I thought it a ladies tank top,
I pressed the wrong key whilst in action; the bidding then just wouldn’t stop.
After her spell in the court room and a lawyer who cost her the earth,
she left as an innocent woman giving eBay the really wide birth!!!
The moral of this tale is quite simple…wear your glasses when bidding!
