The clumsy shopper!

If you skid on a Leek when you’re shopping,
It’s amazing the skills you can find,
There’s a powerful resource that will keep you on course,
And save you from your fat behind.

I thought I would share my discovery,
And not keep it all to myself,
There’s a great many things, both loose and in tins,
That can suddenly leap off the shelf!

The first thing you do is quite easy,
You just throw your hands in the air,
The next thing to do is just focus on you,
And not on the people who stare!

With all of the grace you can muster,
(And in my case that’s just not a lot),
You slowly begin your best camel spin,
To keep yourself safe on the spot.

Having safely performed this manoeuvre,
Stand back and accept the applause,
It’s quite sad to tell, but I know this fact well,
From skating on supermarket floors!!!!!
