The Bossy Boss
For Anti-Bullying Week – please don’t let anyone dampen your sparkle ❤️
A little poem that I suspect many of us can relate to at some time in our lives. They are only ever as powerful as you let them be. And, more importantly, what doesn’t break you makes you stronger.
The Bossy Boss
Have you ever had a bossy boss
Yes, you know the sort I mean
They make your neck hair stand on end
Like a hellish nightmare dream
As Monday morning creeps around
Your mind now filled with dread
Don’t let them play their games on you
Stand up to them instead
Don’t let them drain your sparkle
Or dim your lights down low
Rise above their nastiness
And your confidence will grow
One thing these tyrants hate the most
Is if you greet them with a smile
Don’t let them see they’re hurting you
It’s sure to cramp their style
The Micro-Manager, oh my days
They really are the worst
Just think how sad their life must be
to find pleasure from this curse
Maybe you are that bossy boss
Who likes to cause such pain?
It’s time to stop these antics
And make sunshine from your rain
