Slow Down

Take a deep breath
And slow yourself down
Sit in your garden
And look all around
For the world can be
A much better place
And let Mother Nature
Show you her grace

Take a deep breath
And slow yourself down
Be calm in yourself
And listen to the sounds
For we are only a part
Of this place we call home
Duty bound to protect
The places we roam

Take a deep breath
And slow yourself down
Look to the skies
Where the stars abound
For the universe is
So much greater than known
Hold your hand on your heart
And wait to be shown
