Seagull – an alternative view on lockdown
This lockdown is affecting all…
Seagull – an alternative view on lockdown
I do like the peaceful atmosphere, no rowdy, screaming folk
I can breath in salty air, not choke on barbi smoke
Dip and dive amongst the waves, have done so since my hatch
Don’t miss people, not at all, but there is a little catch
I liked poking in their rubbish, for as well as apple rind
It really was amazing, the treasures left behind
My entertainment has quite gone with no alfresco dining
No hearing cries of beggar off, and suchlike mournful whining
What a squawk, a sight to see
As they screamed while shaking fists at me
……..I waited ‘till food near their lips
Then swooped down quick ….
to pinch their chips
