Reflection

Reflection

A reflection of time
Surrounded by beauty and grace
An invitation to unwind
Look back and embrace.

Taken to the water
To look across or look in
Welcoming ripples
Let the reflection begin.

Tall skeletal trees
Awaiting there dress
Reach for the sky
For the sun’s warm caress.

The evergreen sway
Protection for some
A soft gentle breeze
Waving leaves, having fun.

A carpet of Snowdrops
Flock together, to admire
Green stems and white flakes
There springtime attire.

The Robin close by
To tell me loved ones are near
Bringing good luck and happiness
Removing all fear.

A reflection of all seasons
That are still yet to come
Waiting inline
When the old one is done.

Just take a few moments
To admire passing time
The stillness of reflection
In your time or mine.
