Reap Sunshine From The Rain

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the world were truly at peace ❤️💜

Reap Sunshine From The Rain

We are all in this together
Living our lives the best we can
Trying to find the beauty in every single day
Hoping for peace, calm, kindness
Wishing the wars and fighting away

Amidst the sadness and the sorrows
We wish with all our hearts for better tomorrow’s
Where all people can roam freely
Live peacefully, safe in the knowledge that no harm will come
To cause us despair, to shake us to our very core
Where peace will reign once more

For life is so precious, so fragile, so raw
Our wondrous world, our oyster to explore
Where kindness and love far outweighs the bad
A happy smile gives comfort to the sad

Each and every one of us is special, unique
Holding an important place in our loved one’s hearts
Let’s be kinder, more caring
Let’s share and repair this wonderful world
Before hatred pulls it apart

Let’s bathe in the beauty of just being alive
Live life to the full as opposed to just survive
Be there for each other, so we can all thrive
We have been gifted life and a wondrous world in which to live
Can we only imagine a world free from pain
Or shall we make it happen
And reap sunshine from the rain

I absolutely love writing poems. Enjoying my garden and my dogs. I used to be an Age UK Befriender, which I would thoroughly recommend to anybody. So rewarding
