You should look before you leap
It may be best to take a peep
Good advice if you’re brave, but
If you’re scared…..keep both eyes shut
Empty vessels make most sound
Could depend on who’s around
Don’t bother telling fools they’re wrong
Just roll your eyes and bite your tongue
A bird in hands worth two in bush
Would be if you’re in a rush
If you’re not and enjoy a dare
Take the time to set a snare
A stitch in time saves nine
For handy folk this advice is fine
For clumsy folk, don’t have a bash
Give up and chuck things in the trash
Don’t count your chickens till they’re hatched
Can’t do this till they been catched
Stay a while, you must get use’t
Waiting till they’ve met the rooster
