My Love Will See You Through

I wrote this poem for Grief Awareness Week.  I am sure many of us can relate.  Sending hugs to anybody who needs one right now.

My Love Will See You Through

I know you’re feeling sad my love
Heartfelt tears do stain your eyes
There’s nothing wrong with that my dear
Please don’t try to disguise

You cannot see me, but I’m still here
In everything you do
I wrap my warmth around you dear
In the hope to see you through

I am the fresh breeze on your face
The whisper in your ear
The memories you hold of me
Will one day bring you cheer

When your sorrow overwhelms you
And there feels no end in sight
Just know I’m watching over you
And everything will be alright
