Lockdown blues
Lockdown blues
I’ve got the lockdown blues,
got blues from my head right down to my shoes.
I go to the cupboard where the beer and wine should be,
its almost empty, how can that be.
Must be Ian,
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me.
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me.
I’ve got the lockdown blues,
got blues from my head right down to my shoes
I look in the fridge for something for tea,
only smelly milk and yellowing broccoli.
Must be that Ian again.
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me,
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me.
I’ve got the lockdown blues,
got blues from my head right down to my shoes
I put on my favourite tee-shirt, it’s as snug as can be, how can that be,
must be the washing machine shrinking my clothes.
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me,
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me.
I’ve got the lockdown blues,
got blues from my head right down to my shoes
I’m thinking about exercise, but there’s rain clouds in the sky,
I’ll go out later, its the weather’s fault not mine.
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me,
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me.
I’ve got the lockdown blues,
got blues from my head right down to my shoes.
I’m sitting on my sofa watching Itv3, just one more crime drama,
for me to fill the time.
I should be more active, its the tv’s fault not mine.
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me,
I’m sure you’ll agree it isn’t me.
I’ve got the lockdown blues,
got blues from my head right down to my shoes
I shuffle off to the beach, I have a little paddle,
I have a little swim. The lockdown blues have lifted, water’s lovely, come on in.
I’m sure you’ll agree this is me.
I’m sure you’ll agree this is me.
