Have you ever been to a panto I did as a child
The audience participation is fun all the kids go wild
It’s a parody on a fairy tale told with a little tweak
The cast of characters played with tongue in cheek
Lots of singing and dancing in between each act
Playing to the audience encouraging them to react
Kids and adults enjoy the tale as it is told
With hidden innuendos and gestures that are bold
This family favourite held at Christmas time
Is beloved with its extravagance and exaggerated mime
Ending as it should happily ever after
A theatrical entertainment full of joy and laughter
