KOO – A Tale of Marital Discord (with a twist!)
KOO – A Tale of Marital Discord (with a twist!)
‘Hello, old girl, now here’s a thing.
Our love life is out for a duck.
So I’ve met someone on the internet.
What a piece of luck.
‘She’s young and bright and full of beans
And most of all, she’s willing.
This will buck me up no end.
It all seems rather thrilling.
‘Should I wear a tie or go without?
Do you think I’ll be her ideal?
I want to impress’, he prattled on.
‘But I’ll be home for every meal’.
‘Forgot to say, her name is Koo’.
As he tucked into his dinner.
‘She’s leggy and blonde and prettier than you.
And of course, she’s very much thinner’.
The ‘old girl’ looked him up and down,
Expletives in her head.
But not for the reason that you’d expect
Did she wish him stone-cold dead?
His belly full she watched him go
Into the night for his date.
She put on her coat, got into her car.
Would she be too late?
He raised his hand to knock on the door
Of his new and exciting toy
When his wife arrived,
In a state, all worked up,
For this was no time to be coy.
‘You ridiculous ass’ she sneered and snarled
Spitting through lips pinched and pursed.
‘It’s Tuesday night and MY turn with Koo.
You’ll have to fight me for her first!’
