Kiss me
Kiss me
As age and time consumes me reflection comes to me,
Of who I was and where I went and what I came to be,
I think of love with all it`s fire and flame that still I find,
As the passion of a virile man lives on within my mind.
Kiss me, `like yesterday`, melt your lips to mine,
Hard and strong and tender as our bodies both entwine,
Give to me the love we had, when young and fancy-free,
Yes kiss me, `like yesterday` give back that time to me.
Hold me and caress me, ever now within your arm,
Melt your body into mine where life can do no harm,
Spend a moment deep entwined wrapped in a sacred bliss,
Yes kiss me, `like yesterday`, with that secret special kiss.
Send these years to tumbledown and roll this age away,
Clear the cloud of my infirmity to show a brighter day,
Then leave to me a memory to linger in my brain,
YES, kiss me, ` LIKE YESTERDAY!`, – then kiss me, – again.
