Just Keep On Keeping On
If you are feeling down today and the world fills you with dread
Your mind is working overtime and dark thoughts engulf your head
Your mood, it sways from good to bad, one moment happy, another sad
Just keep on keeping on
If the chaos in our troubled world is saddening your heart
You’re trying to make sense of it, but you don’t know where to start
If the daily news leaves your mind bemused
Just keep on keeping on
If your motivations dwindling to face the day ahead
You are tempted, but must not give in, to just spend the day in bed
Don’t give in to this my friend, this feeling, it will end
Just keep on keeping on
Just remember that this moment, these feelings, will not last
That the torment that you feel right now, will stop, yes it will pass
Have a weep and then dig deep and
Just keep on keeping on
