Just a thought guys. So many people spend more than they can really afford. You don’t have to be rich to have the most fun. You can be rich in other ways.

It’s Not All About the Presents

With Christmas fast approaching
What’s that I hear you cry
I haven’t got much money
It’s in desperate short supply

I’ve got to buy those presents
And a grand and glitzy tree
If I don’t pull out all the stops
What will people think of me?

I’ll tell you what I think my friend
Well, it doesn’t really matter
If the tree’s piled high with presents
Or the goose is getting fatter

We can show our love in other ways
By the little things we do
Lend a hand, take time to chat
As we do the whole year through

It’s not about the gifts you know
Or the blow out Christmas meal
But reflection time of those we’ve lost
Who still our hearts do steal

Don’t waste your hard-earned pennies
Or lace yourself with debt
For a few days of Christmas joy
And a January of regret

For those who truly love you
Will be kind and understand
If you all chip in together
Your Christmas will be grand
