It’s me teeth woman!
It’s me teeth woman!
Have you seen me teeth luv
They’re not in their usual place
On top of the bedside cabinet
Or tucked in me pillowcase.
I can’t say that I have dear
Check down the side of the chair
By the side of the Tele
If not, use your other pair.
It’s me teeth woman, not me glasses
Are you actually listening to me at all?
Of course dear, what you’re missing,
Did you put them in the draw?
No I’m not looking for me glasses
It’s me teeth I need right now
I only have one set of them
Well I did have anyhow.
Your glasses are on your head dear
I do that all the time
If you can’t find your second pair dear
You can always borrow mine.
How many more times do I have to tell you
It’s not me glasses, it’s me teeth
You’ve got all your own luv
She stands staring, in disbelief.
The dog’s standing right beside them
Pricked up ears and a waggy tail
A retrieved set of dentures
A man’s best friend will never fail.
