Is Anybody There ???
Is there someone out there, who won’t really care,
If I have a skinful of wrinkles and some white hair.
I can’t climb a tree, or run for a bus,
but I have a sense of humour and an occasional feel of lust.
I also have pains and twinges and aches.
But don’t we all, for goodness sake?
I need smiles and hugs, and some T.L.C
Someone to hold my hand and walk with me
along windswept beaches, in a peaceful wood.
It would make me happy, make me feel good.
So if you recognise yourself with any of the above,
Put pen to paper, let’s share some love …
