Independence Day: Covid Style
Independence Day: Covid Style
The 4th of July is the date,
When I can have lunch with my mate,
We’re not in a bubble, but that won’t cause trouble,
As long as we don’t share a plate
They say that two households can mix,
For meals out or coffee and bics,
But if you’re outside and the distance is wide,
You’re safe, if you don’t exceed six
So stick to the one metre plus,
If you don’t, there will be such a fuss,
But you can have a cuddle if you’re in a bubble,
Though you must all wear masks on a bus
If you’re in a bubble of four,
You can join with a household of more,
But you mustn’t get flirty or go over thirty,
As then you’ll be breaking the law
