In Armaggedons Shadow

You may stand behind a political podium or seated at an elected chair
Profess zero tolerance of discrimination everywhere
Yet it is evident in the innumerable horrific atrocities
Occurring throughout the world in our communities

We are vulnerable to the terrorists maniacal agenda for revenge
In retaliation and wrongs they must avenge
Various groups will claim responsibility for each terrible act
As if they are united in some evil unholy pact

We can only share our condolences to the victims everywhere
Unsure whom to trust or what we should beware
Hell is empty as its demons run amuck
Armageddon looms upon us with the ticking of the clock

What to do is the question on everybody’s mind
The answer may be one we may never find
