I am Invisible
I am Invisible
I live on the pavement,
the street is my bed
I always greet,
the new morning with dread
With a quick thanks to God
I have got through the night
I am not in an army,
it’s my personal fight
I live by my wits,
and this is my war
Do what I have to,
in or outside the law
My stepdad abused me,
my mothers a drunk
My natural father,
well he did a bunk
So I played truant from school,
could not get a job
Nobody wants to know you,
if you’re without a few Bob!
