Hold on to your pills
Pink, blue or white pills
I think enough I take for ills
I’ll rattle if I’m shaken
Depends on the amount I’ve taken
They’re elliptic, round, but never square
If there are, they’re very rare
Some are stubborn, they get stuck
Then start to dissolve, ‘Oh they’re Yuk!
Symbols, on them sometimes a letter
All of this to make us better
But that’s not always, sometimes worse
Not a hearse, Help please, just a pretty nurse
Okay I’ll just keep swallowing
No point in just a-wallowing
On the things I cannot fix
Just add some more into the mix
There I think I’ve rattled on
Do please excuse the pun
I’ll go now, let them do their magic
Hope they work before something tragic
