Do you know what day it is?
Do you know what day it is?
It is many weeks into lockdown,
I think I’m doing fine
Though probably overdosing on crackers,
cheese and wine
I’ve tidied out the cupboards,
sorted out the draws
Spent time shuffling photographs,
plus doing put off chores
The only problem I can see, ( I hope it isn’t only me)
Is that I can’t remember day or date
So many times I’m much too late
To participate in computer boom
And miss my chance to join in zoom
One time I was so deluded
I got to think I’d been excluded
But if at a calendar I’d peek
Would have found I’d chose the wrong week
You see I had nowhere to go
Not used it since March and so
I did something I know was rash
I threw the darn thing in the trash
