Destination unknown

We’re on one of life’s journey
Destination is unknown
Guide’s are all around us
But you feel you’re on your  own.

Strange and different patterns
They have started to occur
The day that we’ve just journeyed
Is really quite a blur

You’re told things have gone missing
Seeing faces not so kind
How can I try to tell you
What I feel is on my mind

Then further into the journey
Others taking the same road
Will meet and join together
A little lighter on the load

It’s fear that weighs the heaviest
We have to make it lighter
We’re going in to sundowning
We have to make it brighter

Giving and sharing lots of love
Will guide them into light
A kiss, a song, a dance, a laugh
Will take you through the night.

Haven’t reached the destination yet
Every day is new to me
I think I see the sign post
The name is Destiny.

The journey is now over
The road it had to cease
The Destiny that was given
Is that of perfect peace.
