Crocs
Do Crocs still rock, have they become fashionable again? Can I go out in my ones, without feeling ashamed. My grandaughter wears her’s with socks and a dress, she appears summery and cool, rocking the festival look. But mine remain in a box in the shed.
I wear my Crocs in the garden, they are comfortable for my feet, and if they do get a bit muddy from gardening chores, well they do clean up a treat.
Crocs are happy footwear, well they do make me smile. My Crocs are bright pink with a tuna motive. Should I venture our in them for a while?
Yes, I’m venturing out in my Crocs, firstly just a short walk to the local shops. My Crocs would be perfect for a day at the beach, crunching over the stones. They don’t have any laces, so are quick to kick off, when I want to feel the sand between my toes.
I could leave them at the water’s edge when I have a paddle, but only if the tides going out. I won’t chance them in the sea though, in case they fall off.
I’ve noticed a fellow croc affectionardo at Spoken Word and Railway Roots. It’s Tim sporting a jaunty hat, and black crocs upon his feet.
Yes, I’m really up for wearing my pink Crocs. No longer just in the garden will they reign supreme. But all over town, throughout East and West Sussex, even as far as Angmering.
I’ve convinced myself that crocs are the future, they are the way forward. Now I’m eyeing up that pink poncho, hanging at the back of the wardrobe.
