Bully no more

Bully no more

Bully, do you stop
To think how I feel?
The weakness that’s with me
Fuels your next meal.

You saw me coming
A target to aim
Your arrows, aimed and fired
To you it’s a game

Not happy to play one round
You play the full time
You’re fuelled by my sadness
The heartache is all mine.

I have to admire you
Such a good disguise
To those who don’t know me
I’m causing trouble, telling lies.

When all I want is to be happy
Go, get on with my life
Not to feel my stomach tighten
As you stick in, and turn the knife.

Couldn’t take this much longer
I asked for help
The advice I was given
To believe in myself.

I cannot lie
I still felt the fear
But courage and determination
Moved me into the next gear.

I stood up and told her
I would take it no more
The victim she targeted
Was ending the war.

Time to move on
With the strength that I know
And hope your next victims
Will tell you where to go.

I will thank you for one thing
The strength I now feel
No time for bullies
I’m nobody’s next meal.
