Speakers Corner CommentsBeing alone There are so many older people who spend so much time on their own and don't see anybody from one day to the other. It makes me feel sad that nobody seems to wants to give up there spare time to even go and see a lot of these people. i know there are different organisations out there but it seems to take forever to get the help they need. Surely they would be happier if they new they were going to spend sometime with people and not be alone. Just my view .What do other people think.?ViewDate:

Speakers Corner Commentsi quite agree with you.people think they cant live without looking at a mobile phone every two seconds .quite a few times i have seen someone nearly walking into a lamp post or crossing the road without looking and nearly getting run down. people dont talk to each other any more in person .they would rather text or face time or each other or use skype i must be getting old much prefer the way things were before.ViewDate:

MOVING HOME ALONE ......AND TO A NEW PART OF THE COUNTRYi am undecided what to do.i feel like i want to move.i cannot move to where my daughter lives as house prices are to dear.and i can not move to near my son as the moment he lives in kent but he is not sure whether he will be moving to norfolk or not. t.i really dont know what to do for the best.has anybody else had the same problem? -
