I have been lucky with my health. I believe myself to be a kind, constructive and a gentle person.
I work 3 days a week in electronics design and other times as a parish councillor. I don't see much of my children and grandchildren and I have few friends so I have little social life. My interest in joining Silversurfers is to explore the possibility of being less lonely. -

Wills/Insurance policiesLike you, my wife and I have a simple will, everything goes to the partner so long as she/he survives the other by 30 days. Otherwise everything goes to our children (5 between us) in equal shares. Named executors are each other but if both are gone it is our two sons. Simple. Unlike you, we do not 'do' life insurance. We only do car and home, and are too old for travel insurance, so we are of no interest to insurance companies. So, my suggestion to you is cancel you life insurance policies - they are no good to you when you are dead - save the premiums and live long and prosper.ViewDate:

Blue or Burgundy passports?Lucky me, I am a British Subject but also an Irish Citizen. So, a few years back I started to have difficulties with my British EU Passport. Firstly, I was almost refused boarding on a flight to the USA and then I was refused boarding altogether on a flight to Bulgaria to take grandchildren on a skiing holiday. The solution - I applied for an Irish Passport which is a burgundy EU Passport and is provided at no charge for the over 60's. And now with Brexit coming on things will only get better! I can live in England but continue to travel as an EU Citizen. So there.ViewDate:

Are you having enough fun?I am stuck living with a person who says that she hates me and who from time to time demonstrates that with verbal abuse. There isn't enough money for us to live separately and week after week my lotto numbers fail to come up.
