Being directed to unwanted website from Silversurfers GamesHi MoiraC8, I've had the exact same problem and I'm using Chrome - maybe I need to change my browser too then to see if that solves it.ViewDate:

Anyone like to chat?Hi, Lovely to chat to you, sounds like your house is really busy with 3 daughters at home. Previously had a golden retriever they're just adorable, but maybe next time a rescue there's just so many that need homes. Trouble is it would have to be happy to be around children as I have 2 (very soon to be 3) grandkids who would be around at times. I have a son not too far away and another in California who married an American girl, so I obviously don't see much of him. Video chatting makes all the difference though to keeping in touch. I had a very wet visit to the park today to catch up with a friend, we had coffee and cake outside under a brolly! But I've got to say it was different and fun we laughed a lot about it :) Stay dry and take careViewDate:

Tarot & Oracle cardsGreat to see a couple of other people are interested. I have a few decks now both tarot and oracle, but much the same as Mosquito I've not inflicted a reading on anyone else....as yet ....are either of you up for a trial one? Obviously I could be miles out but you don't know if you don't try eh. It goes without saying I am not in the business of charging anyone for anything, just so that's very clear :) We could be guinea pigs for each other if that appeals - if not that's ok too. I'm trying to decide which deck is my favourite, think I have maybe a top 5 can't narrow it down more than that I don't think....so tricky they're all so good in their own way 1. My 1st deck Universal Waite 2. Light Seer Tarot 3. Golden Art Nouveau Tarot 4. Energy Oracle cards 5. Earth Magic Oracle cards Which decks appeal most to you?ViewDate:

Anyone like to chat?Hi LynB7, I'm in Warwickshire too, and pretty new to online chatting like a lot of folks on here it seems. We don't expect to be where we end up sometimes do we, I was widowed last year and it certainly can be lonely especially in these weird times. Are you working? I'm at home or skiving as I like to call it I manage to keep reasonably busy, love to walk but it will make so much more sense when I get a dog! I've promised myself an adorable companion when I've finished all the painting and decorating I've got to finish - my house seems to be like the Forth Bridge Would be lovely to chatViewDate:

Group holidayHi Chris, The only names I've managed to come up with are maybe 'breakaway buddies' or 'fellow traveler's' not madly inspired I'm afraid :) I know it would need a bit or organization perhaps into areas etc but it's such a great idea and would give people something to look forward to. Sadly, I think I might be the only person on the planet not on Facebook - don't know what it is I just don't trust it. Whatsapp however I can live with so it could be worse! Very sensible to try and meet up in various areas and have our own rooms.ViewDate:

Just joined so I'm introducing myself.Hi Emmalina I'm pretty new too I hope the dreaded covid isn't too bad where you are. I can definitely recommend the Match Drop game on here, I got so addicted I did all 90 levels! I've never even played any games like that before either. Blame lies with lockdown methinks :) Great to have someone from AustraliaViewDate:

Group holidayHi christine1066, This sounds like a great idea to me - there's got to be so many people that would enjoy making some new friends in similar circumstances.ViewDate:

Looking to chat with like-minded new friendsHi Llynfi, Sorry to hear about your health problems that must make it much more difficult for you when it's already hard enough. I must admit I had to look up what qigong is :) but it sounds really good I might look into that. I do meditation which I've done for quite a while and that's really helpful to me in all kinds of ways. My lovely social bubble includes my son and grand daughters, it's so good to finally be able to cuddle them and really makes you appreciate what you have. I do hope you're now able to see your family too and are managing ok.ViewDate:

Looking to chat with like-minded new friendsHi Dinabob4, Thank you for your response, I'm sorry to hear about your father grief is such a difficult thing to deal with even in more normal times. The lockdown releases have helped at least we can get out and about more now. The hardest thing to come to terms with is the loneliness of actually living on my own and dealing with everything myself. All those little problems that crop up that I've never had to deal with before as my husband fixed it or dealt with it - still on the upside I'm acquiring some new skills I didn't know I had in me! Needs must and all that :) I certainly feel a lot stronger now than I did, but not too clear on any plans as yet.ViewDate:

Hi from Nashville TNHi aknative, I'm pretty new to the site too, 61 and live in the UK. Sounds like you're keeping very busy with your computer work and of the course the very recent move! One of my sons lives in the USA he married a native Californian, I hope to make it out there one day to visit. Do you have family in Nashville? Great to hear from you and look forward to chatting further if you wish to. Take care.ViewDate:

What did your mum used to say?My mum used to say to me & my sister - "Go and play in heavy traffic" - not too big on health and safety back then! :) My dad's favourite was "Let your meat stop your mouth."ViewDate:

Looking to chat with like-minded new friendsHi Llynfi, I'm also flying solo now after losing my husband just over 14 months ago, so I know exactly how you must be feeling. I'm very new to this too I've been a member for a while but have never posted anything before. I guess we're doing things we'd never perhaps have done without this isolation. It's good to hear that you have a supportive family, I do too but of course they can only do so much and the loneliness can be tough I find at times. It would be nice to make a new friend who understands and is in such a similar position. Take care, just let me know if you'd like to chat.
