Well ......i don't normally write about me.but I'll try and do a precis. 66now so remember the swinging 60's and spent a year as a dropped out hippy. Then reality hit and I worked for a bank!. Not really a career. Did various jobs to keep myself afloat. Married and lived in Jordan for 5 years, Mexico for 3 and Greece for 5. Wonderful experience but very much another life. Along the way had three sons,two now married I have one little grandson and another on the way. Very exciting. I went to university vary late. Graduated in 1999. Started a carer but life rather got in the way! I now live in Cheshire. Interests - well most things a bit. But not sport or cars. Current affairs,politics, books, popular science,etc, radio 4 and anything mystical, religious or wacky.i think that will do

Do you floss?No I don't floss any more since I was told about interdental brushes. I now use them every day and my dentist is happy too. There's little for him to do and my gums are ok now as well.ViewDate:

NewbieHi Jessica. I have only recently joined too. I'm also in my 60's retired,married and a bit lonely. I don't find it difficult to join things though so I remain fairly busy. I think like many life iis somewhat dull though of course this is merely ones perception. I did once watch a play where a refugee said " boring is nice" and there's something to be said for that. Just joined so I'm introducing myself.Hello celtwitch. I've justjoinned and yours is the first comment I've read. I also did various jobs and graduated from university at age 50 ( I'm now 66). Did start a career but life happened and wasn't able to finish. Did other things till I was made redundant . I volunteer here and there and am busy but this stage of life can be difficult. I also have spondilitis but it doesn't bother me much except for looking right and behind when I'm driving. I have sons but they are busy and only one lives nearby. I live in Cheshire so no hills nearby but a couple of national trust parks to walk in when I get it together to do so. -
