I prefer to do things rather than to spend ages discussing. Drama, photography, wood carving , writing - sometimes they work. Now a widower - don't like being limited by age. -

What are your favourite travel destinations and why?Saw what the Masters Golf course looked like in early April on TV - lush and flowering. No real interest in golf but Georgia at that time of year turned out to be quiet, peaceful and welcoming. Stayed in motels (Days Inn) in huge rooms well equipped at less that £30 per night. Could not have been made more welcome than in Georgia and North and South Carolina. Used a great little book from National Geographic called America's Hidden Corners (I think) to research the area. Recomend using the State parks Been to other parts of the states but enjoyed this are most - I stood on top of Old Smokey! -
