Do you support the delay to the 2030 ban on sales of new petrol and diesel cars?Bus service so bad we need cars to exist try doing a shop with a bus that runs once an hour! I can do a months shopping in one trip in under an hour and fit in other things as well.ViewDate:

Do you agree with the decision to axe HS2 northern leg?It was a stupid idea in 1st place and has caused so much disruption and destruction for so many. Just improve the existing lines would have been much cheaper. So I could have got to London 10 minutes quicker! illogical. Time we had people with common sense to make these decisions but I won't hold my breath while waiting.ViewDate:

Would you have a fake lawn in your garden?I'm an avid gardener and love my lawn, weeds and all! I let the clover grow sas the bees love it. I'm lucky that my son usually mows it for me. On a hot day there's nothing better than cool grass on hot tired feet. I've seen artifical lawns and they do look smart. UNTIL the weeds start growing through them!ViewDate:

Should parents be fined for not sending their children back to school? They have already missed almost 5 months of teaching. without taking into account the mental wellbeing whic is just as important as their education. My sister in law has been working in school throughout the lockdown with key workers children and that hasn't been a problem. Sometimes parents cause their children more stress than necessary.ViewDate:

Are you a 'Silver Streamer'?Go online but no more than I did before lockdown and I don't shop online if I can help it. I have better things to do in life, but as I write a newsletter for the over50's in Sheffield I do collect a lot of useful information by email.ViewDate:

Do you prefer traditional books or audiobooks?I can get books, magazine etc online from my library but I'nver used it.. I love just being able to fit a few miniutes reading or just read when I want. I spend quite a bit of time each day on a computer the last thing I need is screeen when I want to relax and unwind. With my head in a book I'm in another world away from all the cares of life - even if it's only waiting for the kettle to boil or letting the washing machine finish it's last spin. A book in my hand anytime.ViewDate:

Should wearing a face mask be compulsory in shops?I don't want to wear a mask as my glasses will steam up and I won't be able to see. I have tried this, within a minute my vision was being blocked.. It's because they fit so close to your face. I'm happy to wear a shield or scarf.ViewDate:

Which do you miss not being open the most - your local pub or your hair salon? Thanks for the reply, it's amazing how people can have connections. I believe there was also a Scottish brewery called Tenants (one N) Not sire if this is true was a long time ago when I heard this. Prior to lockdown my friend and I went to the Fat Cat for Timothy Taylors and the Kelham Island Tavern for one of their many varied offerings. I prefer bitters whereas my friend orefers the blond beers. Have you tried the ales from Bradfield brewery it based just outside Sheffield. I can recommend them. In my younger days I would even drink tennants Gold Label! don't know if they make it now. Just hope all the little local breweries survive. Like you I'm dreaming of the day. Take Care.ViewDate:

Which do you miss not being open the most - your local pub or your hair salon? He worked at Tennants in sheffield that later became part of Whitbreads. He first worked with the dray horses that pulled the wagons delivering beer back when it was in barrels. then went on to help drivers deliver all over the country. I mainly drink beer and wine. Prefer real ale, at moment I'm 'surviving' on Spitfire, Wainwrights, Boddingtons and Banks. Looking forward to a trip down Kelham Island in Sheffield soon.ViewDate:

Which do you miss not being open the most - your local pub or your hair salon?Miss going to the pub - not that I went often. Do like a drop of real Ale. know I can buy bottled but it's not the same as glass of the draught stuff. Perhaps it because my granddad worked at the local brewery.ViewDate:

Will you download the tracing app when it becomes available?Don't use apps or data on my mobile. As the report says many people don't have access to a smartphone and those that do often don't know how to use it.ViewDate:

Is it sensible to allow specified year groups back to school? My sister in law has worked in school all throughout the lockdown. No one has become ill. Her school reopens to reception, Year 1 and year 6 on 8th June - end of half term.
