i love this poem, it is so clever and brings memories flooding back of a fun filled childhood, summer days spent outside, riding bikes, playing marbles and having orange juice packed up with sandwiches in an old medicine bottle with a cork. Thank you for re-introducing me to my past.

I have just turned 63 and can now retire and claim my state pension and my works pension. i have only worked 2 days a week so my money will be very little difference to me working. I have done a busy job with on call etc for several days a week so am looking forward to more me time. I must admit I am a little apprehensive but hope that I will fill my time with the things I want to do and meeting friends etc for coffee and days out. If i get a little bored i might look at voluntary work.

The EU is a bureaucracy and not a democracy of which we have always lived by so for that reason alone we have to leave. We make no decisions of our own these are made by the EU. Why even have a parliament if we cannot decide how we run our own country? We pay so much each day which could be put back into making thing better for us. We have a housing, education and NHS crisis which will only get worse. We cannot afford those migrant that come here for "a better life" we owe them nothing and many do not work as declared. Those that do have overtaken areas which are now little Poland, Romania etc. We pay CB to children that are not living here but are still back in their own countries, if we are to continue to do this it has to be paid at there monetary rate and not the British rate. We have become the dumping ground for migrants with no skills and no intentions to work and this will effect our quality of life as we will become too many to be able to afford and cope with.

Where do you live Carole as some members may be close by and could arrange to meet with you, also have you looked at the university of the third age as they have lots of groups you could join and would be sure to make friends. x

I agree with most of you the Piers Morgan is NOT the man to get all of us BBC lovers to go to the dark side in the morning. I find him boring and obnoxious and could not stand to listen to his droning voice any time of the day.
