Should drivers over 70 be tested every three years?What a poor reason to want to avenge the poor womans death to apply a test to all drivers over seventy yrs of age. Make a comparison with lorry drivers, do we call for all lorry drivers to be tested. If you must make comparisons try comparing senior citizen drivers accidents to those drivers under 25 years of age. I am eighty three and still drive. The insurance companies are the best judges I have been with my insurers for over 40 years and get a 75% discount whereas younger people pay 4 times higher for their insurance than I do. Do you use regular forums or do you prefer facebook?I have tried Facebook and most of the time I couldn't cope with the variations of language. I prefer Silver Surfers because it is mainly nostalgic and I know what contributors are saying and can relate to the era.ViewDate:

Should smoking be brought back into pubs?NO . I was a heavy smoker for over 60 years and twice i have been admitted to hospital at death's door. I suffer C.O.P.D as a result of smoking. I gave up and the benefits have improved my life incredibly. I can drive my car again, I use my electric mobility scooter less and can walk more . Any exposure to cigarette smoke especially for bar staff -
