Where to start!.........
OK..I'm a fifty-four (ouch) year old woman who finds herself alone and although I'm not lonely I sometimes wish I had other company - feels like I'm at a crossroad in life waiting for new things to happen. Trouble is if I wait around hoping for these new things to miraculously appear - I fear I will have a very disappointing future.
So with that in mind I've begun to traverse my way around a few new experiences...this being one of them...not sure what to expect however I'm hopeful that doors that have remained closed up until now will begin to open...maybe!
I love sharing a cuppa with friends, having dinner with like- minded and some not so like minded people. Open and honest conversation that brings the opportunity to see from anothers perspective. Hot chocolate after a long walk, beautiful beaches, I also love silence and company that dosen't demand attention all of the time, the hairdressers is another favorite and shoe shopping ( what can I say - I am a bit girlie!)...good books and music of all tastes and genres. Spending time with people I adore is also a must - it lifts my heart and makes me realise just how fortunate I am....holidays abroad and at home- Cornwall has a very special significance for me and I go there whenever I can - I find breathing easier there and can visibly see my stresses lifting away from me......I'm a doggy woman ( I have two chocolate brown field spaniels) so walks are an everyday necessity- once out there I value the time spent either giving myself a little pep talk or meditatively grounding myself for the day to come....what else to say.....hmmmmmm........to be honest if you've made it this far I think you'll proably have seen and read enough...hope to enjoy this site and see and hear from some of you!
