Lived and worked in Essex all my life, moved to Staffs, what a lovely place to retire to!
My husband has also taken early retirement and we are enjoying living in our new home with our little dog. Trying to finish a short novel I have been writing for a number of years. 2017 Finished my book at last! have ppublished it and now am well on the way with the second one!

Prostrate CancerMy husband went to the doctors as he was feeling very tired. Consequently after an examination and being sent for a blood test, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, we are waiting for him to go in for a radical prostatectomy, this has all happened since the end of November last year. His op is in a couple of weeks. We are hoping that once everything is removed we can look forward to the future.ViewDate:

Should families be able to overrule your wishes on organ donation?My husband and I had this discussion only the other day. We both feel that if anyone has taken the time to think about organ donation and given their consent then their wishes should be followed. We are all responsible for our own lives and bodies so therefore the decision as to whether to donate organs or not is ours and ours alone and families should honour these decisions. Of course discussions among the family should definitely take place as a normal part of life.ViewDate:
