Do you feel happy living in the United Kingdom?I have had the opportunity to live all over the world. Believe me, there are far worse places to live then the UK. If you think you feel unsafe try walking the streets of PNG and Caracas. Or even Brussels alone at night.ViewDate:

Should supervised toothbrushing be the responsibility of early years teachers? It’s the parents job to teach their children life skills not the job of a teacher. What they should be doing is to get the school dentist back in schools. This would provide checkups for children, especially when you can’t get them registered with a NHS dental practice.ViewDate:

Are you relied on to look after your grandchildren regularly while their parents are at work?I would relish being able to look after my granddaughter and treasure every minute I spend with her. My daughter never takes us for granted as I never took my parents or in-laws for granted.ViewDate:

Are the men in your life doing more household work than men did 50 years ago?I grew up with a father who wasn’t shy of doing housework, or cooking and cleaning, for that matter. He believed that marriage was a partnership and that meant shearing household jobs and looking after my sister and I. This was the ‘60’s so a man ahead of his time.ViewDate:

What's your favourite scary film?As someone who loves horror movies I have only ever been scared by one, and I’ve seen a lot. Hellraiser based on the short novella by the British author Clive Barker.ViewDate:

Should Scotland be an independent country?Of cause. Let them go as long as there on their own with no financial support from England and let us have a vote in it too. There’s foundations of a wall already between us. Am sure it wouldn’t take long to rebuild itViewDate:

Can your child or grandchild afford to go to university without your help?We helped our children where we could but they also had to get a job to help out too. Both took the student loans and will now pay them back for a very long time. If we can we shall also help our granddaughter to but there should be no pressure for her to attend university. You always do what you can for your children where possible, no matter what their ages are.ViewDate:

Should 'Best Before' dates on fresh products be scrapped?Get rid of them. Use the old fashioned eyes and nose method. If it looks bad and smells bad it probably is. I lived on an island in the South Pacific for a number of years. All food was imported in and most were already passed their “Best Before” before going on the shelves.ViewDate:

Do you still use an old-fashioned alarm clock? We’ve not used an alarm clock in years. My husband is always awake by 06:30 at the latest. Don’t even have a clock by the bed.ViewDate:

Would you support a pay-as-you-drive scheme on UK roads?Only if the government do away with road tax. They can’t have it both ways.ViewDate:

Do you keep your car in your garage or is it full of junk?We have never been able to put our car in the garage because it was built with part of it being behind the house with a drive that is to narrow to fit a car.ViewDate:

Would you buy products after their best before date?I have just spent three years living in the Solomon Islands where most of the food is imported from Australia/New Zealand. We were lucky to buy something that wasn’t in date.ViewDate:

Which is your favourite Airline?I am a seasoned traveller and found Emerites to be one of the best airlines I have used for travelling to and from Australia. They use the A380 on long hauls and the economy seats are very roomy. For transatlatic flights I have always favoured Virgin Atlantic. Please be aware though if flying across Australia with Virgin Australia that this is not part of the Virgin group but an Australian budget airlines aclined to Easy Jet and Ryan Air.ViewDate:

Is it wrong to spend your kids’ inheritance? My father had a stroke when he was 64 and spent the next 19 years unable to do things for himself. When he passed he left money to my sister and myself. How I wish he was still with me spending the money that he had worked hard to save for his retirement. -
