Hi Marty. Yes like you Spurs are a hard watch at times. Especially the last few minutes of the game when we tend to switch off and concede a late goal. Jimmy Greaves is also my football hero. My wife bought me a book a few months ago called The Biography of Tottenham Hotspur by Julie Welch. It's a good read for any Spurs fan. I nearly became a QPR fan when I was about 6yrs old because my mate was and I liked the football kit but I was rescued from that fate by my uncle who supported Arsenal and he took me to my first ever football match. Spurs won and from then on I became a long suffering Spurs fan. Roll on next season. We might even win something. Keep the faith.

Hi. I also joined yesterday after hearing the advertisement on boom radio. I spend every day on my own as my wife still works full time. I do all the other stuff like cooking, washing and ironing and cleaning our bungalow. I have just got a new puppy called Norbit. Now I can add cleaning up dog wee and dog poo to my list of duties..As quick as food goes in onè end three times as much comes out the other. I joined to speak to like minded people. I am 65 but I don't feel my age at all. I have been into the mod scene all my life. I love the clothes and the music. I think it has kept me young at heart. I don't speed about on scooters anymore. Not since being told I have Parkinson's. But I refuse to be defined by my illness. I still do the same thing that I have always done except now it takes me longer. I still play guitar and weight training. Not at the same time. That might be a sight to behold. Maybe I should audition for Britain got talent.
